Picnic Plus! FAQs

What types of events does Picnics Plus! cater?

We specialize in corporate picnics, community gatherings, and family-friendly celebrations. Whether you’re hosting 50 guests or 5,000, we can create a custom picnic experience that reflects your vision and makes planning easy.

Is there a minimum guest count for bookings?

Yes. Most picnic packages require a minimum of 50 guests. Certain specialty menus and State Fair Stations may require a minimum of 100 guests.

What’s included in a picnic catering package?

Our packages typically include:

  • Freshly prepared sides and condiments

  • Compostable serviceware, flatware, and napkins

  • Catering serving staff (Event Captain billed separately)

  • We also offer full event rentals, games, entertainment, and kid-friendly activities add ons!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes! Many of our menu items are labeled gluten-friendly (gf), dairy-friendly (df), vegetarian (v), or vegan (vv). We can also provide gluten-free buns or other substitutions upon request.

Do you prepare the food on-site?

Absolutely. Most of our menus are prepared fresh at your event for the best flavor and presentation. We can also arrange drop-off service for certain menus if preferred.

What menu options are available?

We offer a variety of themed picnic menus including:

  • Kickin’ Country Feast

  • Great Northwoods
    …plus State Fair Stations, Cajun-inspired menus, and more. All can be customized to fit your group’s preferences.

Do you provide entertainment and games?

Yes! We have over 300 games and inflatable options, from moonwalks and obstacle courses to lawn games, casino tables, face painting, and more.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible—especially for peak summer dates. Booking within 15 days of receiving your proposal qualifies you for a complimentary treat such as cotton candy, ice cream, or yard games.

Do you handle event setup and rentals?

Yes. We can provide tents, tables, chairs, staging, and other event rentals, along with full setup and teardown so you can enjoy the day stress-free.

How do I get started?

Simply contact our team to discuss your vision, guest count, and preferred date. We’ll create a customized proposal and handle the planning so you can focus on having fun.
