What started as two separate catering companies in the late 1980sβMintahoe, founded by Kelvin and Annette Lee, and Twin City Catering, founded by Jim McMertyβcame together in 2008 to form one united brand. Today, Jimβs children, Suzi McMerty Shands and Shawn McMerty, proudly serve as Co-Presidents, ensuring that Mintahoeβs values of integrity, hospitality, and family leadership continue to thrive.
Over the years, Mintahoe has grown in exciting new directions. From restoring the historic Nicollet Island Pavilion to launching Authentic Gourmet BakeShop, and from expanding into private aviation with Atikis Minnesota Flight Catering to serving thousands of clients across the region, our family-led team embraces innovation while staying true to our roots.
