AN ELEGANT FLORAL AFFAIR AT THE MINNESOTA BOAT CLUB

This picturesque wedding at the Minnesota Boat Club in St. Paul captured the natural beauty of the space and grounds with natural decor & a garden fresh menu. The ornate woodwork inside the Boat Club was matched with large bundles of baby’s breathe hanging from the iron chandeliers, a look we had not seen in the space before! The floral centerpieces tied in the ceiling installations and highlighted the simple and elegant tablescapes. The Mintahoe team ensured that the details on each table were just right, from the votives to the napkin fold, each piece was in it’s place.

Katie helped the Bride & Groom decide on a menu to fit their style. With a simple & elegant dining space, they wanted to capture the rustic & casual details from the verandas and courtyard, and she created just that with a thoughtful and summer-inspired menu. Some of the stationed hors d’oeuvres included a seasonal Crudite Display with a Sun-Dried Tomato Aioli, and a Balsamic & Garlic Marinated Flank Steak served over colorful feta couscous (yum!). Guests enjoyed their (Signature Old Fashioned) cocktails and hors d’oeuvres overlooking the river and beautiful St. Paul skyline while Mintahoe prepped for dinner service. Going off without a hitch, guests were served their meals which included a Sunburst Salad as a starter, and their choice of Herb Roasted Chicken, Beef Tenderloin, and Sea Bass. Guests were overjoyed!

This dreamy evening on the river was a wonderful celebration for the Bride & Groom.
