Founded in 1969 by Capt. William D. Bowell, Sr. the Padelford Riverboats operate today from Saint Paul’s Harriet Island Regional Park. More than 4 million guests have boarded the Padelford Riverboats for one of the most unique experiences in the Twin Cities area—a scenic cruise down the Mississippi River aboard the historic Padelford passenger vessels.
