Minneapolis Central Library
The spectacular Minneapolis Central Library made its grand debut to the public on May 20, 2006 as the first Minneapolis library to be built in over 40 years. With a striking exterior and awe-inspiring interior, this Cesar Pelli-designed building has cemented its place as a Twin Cities architectural landmark.
Built with an emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendliness, the forward-thinking designers included unique amenities such as columns made from recycled materials, a ‘green roof’ and energy efficient features.
One of the premier community gathering and destination spots in downtown Minneapolis, this extraordinary site inspires extraordinary meetings and events. A variety of spaces are available to suit your event’s needs.
