Q: How in the world do you pronounce Mintáhoe?
A: Good question! It is pronounced: MIN (like the state) + TAHOE (like the lake)

Q: Can Mintáhoe arrange a menu tasting before hiring for our event?
A: Absolutely! We offer complimentary tastings with several of our menu items and believe it is an important step when choosing a caterer.

Q: What is included with Mintáhoe’s menu pricing?
A: Many caterers charge very differently for their products and services. We like to keep it simple and stress-free with menu pricing that includes the staff, food, dinnerware, linens, and coffee.

Q: How soon in advance should I book a caterer?
A: It is very important that you book your caterer as soon as you can. We recommend 6-12 months before your event. That said, if your in a time crunch, don’t hesitate to call!

Q: Does Mintáhoe use local products?
A: We prioritize fresh, local products when available and cost-efficient to our clients.

Q: Is a full bar available with offsite catering?
A: It depends. We do have a full liquor license, but some venues have liquor restrictions.

Q: When will I need to finalize my menu and final guest count?
A: Two weeks (14 days) before your event.

Q: What other costs are associated with catering?
A: There is a 19% service charge, and any applicable taxes, and possibly a delivery charge.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel your event, you have the option to reschedule. If you choose to cancel, you will lose your deposit.
